55/65 :)

Is it full head or highlights? If highlights try b red. Really nice and vibrant xoxo

Full head, and I dye her extensions too so prefer to use permanent colour on her x

B red is permanent, it lightens and deposits in 1 go to save time and over processing, I'd ask perry, but I don't think it's suitable for full head. Iv never done it anyway xoxo

I've never heard of b red, gotta stick to wella the supplier near me only has that or I have to go way out my way, thanks though :) x

You can't use it on scalp and the magenta, which is the purple tone, has to be used on a base 7 or lighter to work effectively...:)

To the op, purples are probably the most awkward colours to use! If you want a vibrant purple, in my opinion you have to pre lighten and go semi, the only permanents I've ever found are between a base 3 & 6 ... And due to the undertone of these bases (reds) you won't get a true bright purple, they will always be red based (in my opinion anyway, please correct me if you disagree as I'd love to find a decent permanent purple).

Ok so i found a great method for this. I used 30ml of 55/66 and then 15ml 0/65 mixer tone. I then added 9% 90ml. i left it on for 30 mins without heat and wham bam its bright purple. This is my method for getting bright purple, and it lasted a lot longer than i thought. Then just o refresh it i used colour touch re-lights. :) i hope this helped.

When you say it lasted longer than you thought, how long did it last?? I would have thought using 30 vol the colour would just drop out...

Thanks I'm going to try that :) x

please can anyone help.. my client has 55/66 wella 6% on prelightened in foils but she wants it brighter this time - was thinking using it either with 9% instead or going for colour touch 55/65 but not sure which vol to use with that will 1.9% make it bright enough ?? xxxxx

I tried the purple and pink mixtones but found they faded too quick. I prefer 55/66 with blue mixtone it gives a lovely deep but vibrant purple.
