Hi Everyone, just wondered what brands everyone stocks to sell in their home salons (if you do)? I am planning to have a range of the homecare products for the peel brand I use, but I dont know whether to have something a bit more 'high street' available as well, something like the body shop. I think that might appeal to more of the younger market who get dermaplaning done for example, and obviously around Christmas it's good for gifts etc, but I don't know if it would look a bit odd to have a high street brand in a home salon? Can anyone recommend any other brands to stock and sell that are more around high street prices? Not interested in Eve Taylor as everyone round here does that! Thanks

I’ve edited your thread title to clarify that you want suggestions on brands to stock as it read as if you were selling up and closing. :)

Sorry! Haha x

Hi I use Neals Yard Remedies for my facials! Beautiful organic & natural products and easy to start up with. And the blue bottles look lovely in treatment room :) x

Neals Yard are an MLM scheme so not a Professional Skin care brand. The products are ordinary (like Boots own brand) and any of your clients can set up their own Neals Yard MLM business and sell the products themselves.

The truth about Herbalife. 89% of people who sign up will make 0% profit.

It’s hard to accept that you’ve been scammed, but all MLM schemes are a scam.

Please research further into this company if you haven’t already since posting this. They have multiple spas all over the country. My treatment room has thrived using NYR.

I have been using Neals Yard Remedies and it works great. Also, the salon I go to sells boxycharm . This is a great gift idea for someone who is just starting to get interested in makeup for example. I rarely do makeup but I would really like these gift ideas

Hi, I would highly recommend Tropic Skincare for a home salon, I've been a therapist for 25 years and they are the best products I've used, all natural, vegan and there is no minimum order, my clients all love them and reorder every few months. Let me know if you'd like anymore info.

Appreciate the insight! No minimum order is a big plus for home salons

It really is, plus you get so many free products when clients buy off you 🥰

I have a home Holistic Beauty clinic and have worked in a Spa and managed a Clarins salon just to give you some history of my product experience. I’ve been practicing for 30 years.
In my clinic I have used Eve Taylor then Neals yard and then Dermalogica was my latest until I swapped to Tropic last June. I had got fed up of checking online prices and trying to compete and my sales dropped as clients were finding it was getting too pricey.
My sales have rocketed and I am part of the most supportive team. Working really well in treatments too plus it’s a hugely ethical brand.
Yes anybody can sell it - it’s not exclusive to professionals but I’m not sure the support is there anymore in professional brands.

I’ve worked in salons using Decleor since 1998, and have also trained in Dermalogica, Sothys, Aromatherapy Associates, and Elemis.

When Decleor stopped trading I spent 6 months looking for another professional skincare line, and I found Sentéales, which is a Parisian brand.

I’ve been using it over a year now, and it’s been really popular (many of my old Decleor clients have even said they prefer it to Decleor), and more importantly I’ve been getting good results!

It’s very much like Decleor, and they have over 50 years of experience in plant based skincare. The range is not too big, or too expensive, and there’s lots of possibilities for customising the masks etc. They are also a really friendly company to deal with, and I really enjoyed the training.

Importantly for me, Sentéales is a professional skincare line with several professional-only products, isn’t a MLM company, and has no minimum order.
