Hey everyone,
Got a question for you. I got this brisa lite clear smoothing gel and I don't know if it's original or not.
It doesn't have the printed code on the bottle so my first reaction was not.
BUT I asked the seller and he says that because they are US based and they sell internationally they remove the codes.
Is it possible he's telling the truth? And how the hell do they remove the codes? Does the factory send them out like that? I got the gel online by the way and it's the first that this ever happened to me, so I don't know if I should return it or not.

If your unsure and its a reputable company they will accept the return. I'm guessing you bought it from US cos its cheaper, don't run the risk of it being fake and invalidating your insurance only buy from authorised UK distributor. Even if they won't take it back don't use it and chalk it upto experience. I made this mistake with my gel polish esp when I was only buying for personal use but it's all from uk wholesalers now x

They did say they accept a return, and they are paying the shipping costs, but then I'll have to find a new seller and search and wait again when I just have the thing right here in my house! Not to mention it's hard to find clear, sculpting of smoothing, considering it's being discontinued...
I have a UK seller, and although he's got tons of shellac, for some reason he doesn't have brisa lite. He's got the kits, just not the separate items. Perhaps his stock is running low, and with the announcement that it will be discontinued he gave it up? Go figure...

Can you suggest your uk wholesalers?

Didn't want to sound patronising in my pp hope you didn't think it was. Oh maybe then! What a pain when things you like get discontinued! Maybe one of the cnd users on here will be able to help you better xxx

I'm guessing you're not a cnd fan then? Dang...

It's not that I'm not a fan! Just not my brand lol x i use ibd gel polish and ppl buying from the states is a big problem and potentially fakes through eBay cos all the colours come out there months before they do in UK so on the ibd groups there is a lot of discussion about it lol x

Sweet Squared still have stock of Brisa Lite smoothing gel so get it from them or Ellisons as they are the authorised distributors in the UK. If the smoothing gel is in a bottle then it will be fake as smoothing gel comes in a pot.

Sorry about the fan, meant user, more appropriate.
I know it's risky to buy on ebay, that's why I stick with my own sellers, but I'm quite at a loss here. Not sure what to do about this bottle and the guy has an amazing response not to mention his %.
Are your wholesalers selling any cnd? maybe I could check with them

no no pot is what he sent, I would know the difference there!!!

I see you are in Greece - are you saying the official CND distributor in Greece has no stock of Brisa Smoothing Gel left?

from what I see in their site, they have the scuplting white, so I didn't bother to ask to be honest. I'm just used to buying everything online.
anyway getting off topic, should I send the pot back? is it possible it's not fake if it doesn't have a code?

Mine have always had a code on them so am not sure - sorry. It is always a risk not obtaining them from the authorised distributors. If you have the option of sending it back & you aren't sure if it is genuine then it may be an idea. If you cannot send it back then maybe try it out on yourself & see how you get on and in future get it from official sources so you don't worry.

Anyone else's opinions?
