Brisa top coat

Hi, I have been out of the nail industry for a couple of years. I am just getting back into it but only offering shellac at the moment. My question is can I use shellac top coat instead of brisa top coat when using the smoothing gel. I have a cracked a nail. I don't want to file it down it would be painfully short. So I thought brisa would work but I have ran out of the top coat. So would brisa base, smoothing gel, shellac colour and then shellac top coat work?

Yes you only seal shellac with one of the shellac top coats.. brisa bonds best on enhancements..
