Hi so I need to put a name to my business , I have a salon set up in my home and I need to do up business cards , loyalty cards etc.

My name is Sarajayne , I don't want Sarajayne's beauty or beauty room , I want something different, I was thinking of something like Secret Jardin (French for garden) so the SJ is incorporated but that doesn't suite what I have . I also don't like SJ's . Any help would be great ,

Thanks x

You could leave out your name and go for something else.

Beauty Box
Belle Beauty
Simply Beautiful

Or back to your initials and French

Sui Jolie
Simply Jolie

I'm finding it so hard to find S and J words to incorporate , I've been using a thesaurus to come up with words beginning with J and it's so hard? Is there anything online that helps me with finding the words even different languages ? Thanks

Hello Sarajayne, I'm a French hairdresser and I'd love to help you out if you need to correct your future name :)

Yes if you could give me any ideas that would be great [emoji7]

What kind of business are you running ? Hair ? Nails ? I'm going to think of nice French words !

I have a Lavender growing business myself and I have called it Lav-Ly.
Lav stands for lavender obviously and Ly for Lykostomo where my base is, and altogether it sounds as "lovely"! Nice huh? I'm very proud of that name
Point is, what's the message you want to send? Forget your personal name, it's irrelevant, nobody cares and when what you want to say comes to you, trust me that you won't either!
Do not overthink this. Just close your eyes, take a deep breath, imagine the place and the feeling that you would like to receive as a customer. And it will come to you.

Take a page from my book for instance. Where is your salon, city or countryside, what's the name of the place and what sort of beauty business is it?
Or perhaps it's a themed salon, like butterflies or fairies, or Harry Potter (yeah I loved that idea)? I loved the Jardin Secret, it reminds me of mystical lands, of Sehrazat and the 1001 nights. But you say it doesn't suit so I ask why? You must have an idea so what is it?
How about Beauty Garden? Jardin beauté? Is that correct? Sorry my French is rusty!
