Easydry is supporting the UK’s biggest climate change campaign, Climate Week, this March with the launch of the first ever Save Our Water Awards. During March and April thousands of Easydry nail bars, salons and spas all over Britain will receive certificates they can put on display so clients know exactly how much water their salon has saved since switching to Easydry.

"With water fast becoming one of the most precious commodities we have, we need to embrace more sustainable business practices and we need to celebrate those who do," said Easydry’s ceo Anne Butterly.

"We switched to Easydry to push standards of care for our clients even higher and free staff from having to launder towels, but another consequence has been the positive response of clients, who have welcomed our move to more sustainable practices," says Ronnie Marshall of Kirkcaldy-based salon Byron, who has been using the towels for three years. "Yet I don’t think they really understand exactly how much better Easydry is for the environment and having a certificate on display will help reinforce that message."

"Having Easydry measure our water conservation shows our clients that we are serious about reducing our carbon footprint. It’s not greenwash, we really are doing our bit," adds Ronnie.

Until then...geek on!
