Hello! I had my first Callus Peel yesterday as part of a Pedicure. It cost almost £40 in total and I'm not too impressed to be honest. The therapist told me that she would leave the pads on my heels for 15 minutes but came back in no more than 7 minutes and started scraping!! She also left my big toes, even though there was lots of dry skin on those. Can someone tell me if that's acceptable? I wonder if I should have just stuck to the normal £20 pedicure...

No, that's not acceptable. The instructions clearly state 15 minutes, and I have sometimes left them a little longer with very hard skin, else they won't work. I would be inclined to politely inform the salon owner so they are able to address the situation.

Thank you, Martin. I really wish I'd said something at the time. I just assumed she knew what she was doing. I won't be wasting my money there again.

The timing bit is defo not on but I have to say alot of salon/therapists I know will only use the patch on the heels. I personaly cut them up to put on any area that needs it but I know that in my area that this is not common practice.

Thank you, Helen. Looks like I'll have to find a different salon for my next treatment! At least I'll be armed with more information, thanks to this website :)

If you visit the Callus Peel website they have a 'find a salon' function that would be able to help you out!
