Silver shampoo on brown hair to get the reddy tones out? I had light ash brown, they then warmed it up a bit, hated it, put ash back on it n the gold is nearly just about out.

Hi there.

From my experience, no it won't do anything.
Silver shampoos work best to reduce gold and yellow tones on white/grey hair and bleached hair. It can also help a little to reduce warm tones on natural blonde hair from base 8 and above.

If you try it, you might just notice the warm tone being slightly reduced, but it won't be anything really noticeable.
