I’m currently studying Nail Tech. I’m having a devils time trying to get my beads right. I’m wondering if it’s because I’m using really cheap eBay products? They came with my student kit. The powder is ezyflow but I have no idea what the liquid is. It’s in a little grey bottle.

Could product be the reason I can’t get beads right?

Who are you training with? I'd be very concerned about the quality of the training if the products are sourced from eBay. Products should not be mixed and matched from different brands, and this should be taught as part of your course. Product chemistry and H&S are equally as important as application and shaping

You need to use the same system - hence why you are having trouble with your ratio.

There are some really well priced trial kits from NSI and CJP and other brands there is no reason to buy cheap ebay products.

Can be the quality of the brush too.

Thanks for the info.

I’m going to get my own products. I’m thinking the cheap brushes might be the problem too.

I’ll get it eventually I’m sure.

I will say.. so far I’m liking Gel better than acrylic :)
