I've just tested out my Dream soak-off gel before a client tomorrow. Went on like a dream (excuse the pun), but I messed one nail up a bit so I'm trying to soak it off. The problem is, it doesn't seem to be working!

I am used to using IBD, which you can file very thin and then soak the rest - when I do this usually the remains of the gel sort of go brittle and flake off rather than how l&p usually goes gooey and dissolves.
The Dream is doing the same thing. My mum has had her nail wrapped up for 25 minutes and a little bit has chipped off but no gooeyness yet at all.

I've now got her with her finger in an egg cup of product remover to see if that makes a difference. Am I just mistaken in thinking that the gel should soak off in the same way as the l&p, is it OK that it's acting the same as IBD, or have I done something wrong??

only bit of advice i can give u re soak offs is that they 'soak off' in about 15-20 mins so sounds a bit iffy?

Ring the disty see what advice they can give you - sorry i am not much use but dont know anything about dream gel!

I was wondering the same thing?? I tried to soak off a nail that I had done using the dream soak off and had the same problem.... I have used the akzentz soak off and with that you have to soak and then file and it sort off crumbles off the nail.. it looks like this may be the same...!! it is a really nice gel too work with though..I might ring EN for some advice before I try it again just incase there is an easier way to do it...
