Cherry red hair colour

Morning all
I would love my hair to be that gorgeous cherry red colour..but can't afford salon prices.
If i buy a box colour it never goes red as Im dark brown. Can anyone advise me how i can achieve the colour myself pls

Sorry, but If you are trained in tanning and nails, I'm sure you'll understand that this is a professional site and no hair pro will give DIY advice on coloring your hair.

I find it a bit cheeky to ask in all honesty xx

Fair enough Fee.....we wouldn't like it if a hair Geek asked us how to use a Rio kit she just bought to do her nails!

If you dont want to pay the professional full salon prices, why not check with your local college as students would love to have real people to work on, I am sure.
