Hi all,

My little boy has chickenpox at the moment that still haven't healed. I'm a mobile nail tech and have an appointment this evening that I've cancelled as my client has a newborn baby and I don't want to pass anything on. My clients not very happy but from the research I've done I shouldn't be around a newborn that hasn't been immunised. What do you think? I think I might lose my client over this. X

If the blisters have scabbed over but are no longer pus filled, your son won't be contagious. The scabs themselves take ages to heal

Thankyou ladies. I'm sticking to my decision since a baby is involved. X

I think you've done the right thing. To be honest, if I was the client, I wouldn't be too happy if you turned up at my house and I had a newborn, then you informed me that your son had chickenpox. I would be grateful you'd cancelled!
