Choosing scissors

I need to purchase a new pair of scissors but I’m on a limited budget right now.

Does anyone know of some decent ones that will last me until I can afford to invest in a more expensive and better quality pair?

At the moment probably £100 max. While I realise they are an investment, I’m going back to hairdressing after years away and paying for private courses means limited budget until I start making money. I’ve been using my previous scissors to cut hair extensions so need to keep them separate.

If possible, try to find some with convex blades as they’re good for slicing.
One of the main differences in scissors costing under £150 and those costing considerably more is how long they stay sharp for, plus the cheaper pairs can only be sharpened once or twice before they’ve had it.
