Can anyone explain why my acrylic sets are taking much much MUCH longer all of the sudden (due to product not curing/setting near as fast as it always has)? It's taking on average 7 - 8 minutes per nail!!!
Compared to literally just a few weeks ago (it was only about 1-2 min tops cure time) The only thing "different" is my new bottle of CND Retention monomer- which is what I've been using this entire time (just ran out). Could the product truly be different depending on where you purchase it from? Or maybe my powder went wonky?? Lol
Thanks so much to anyone who may have some insight regarding this or have possibly dealt with it themselves(unfortunately)
☺☺☺

Where did you purchase it from? (It sounds like you bought it from somewhere different this time? Or am I reading that wrong?) has the temperature changed where you're working? I'm very new to l&p, so possibly not much help [emoji85]

Do you buy your products from sweet squared or ellisons?

Have you changed where you purchase your products? Has there been a change in temperature where you work? Is there a possibility that your monomer is contaminated?

Hi there! My temps are the same, but yes, I did purchase the monomer at a different supplier this time around. It was brand new & sealed...

Hi there ☺ The monomer was purchased at a local beauty supply store. Are the websites you mentioned credible? I'd love to make my next purchase from there if so ☺☺☺

If the problem has only been since using the new bottle of monomer I would return it to the supplier and advise them why.

Both suppliers mentioned are U.K. distributors only.
