CND beginners course?

Hello

I am taking the CND Shellac Beginners course at the end of October in London has anyone else done this course and if so how did you find it?

I am hoping to set up my own business after doing the course and lots of practice

I'm booked onto the beginners course for November in London.

There's lots of previous threads with good reviews! I'm hoping to get lots of practice in over the Xmas period.

Have you completed the pre test yet? I haven't received my course material yet.. hope it's not too hard!

Yeah I have done the pre test.... i passed second time. They can re-generate the test as many times as you need it doesnt matter. The book you get has got a lot of information in it. I would advise to read over and learn the main points from each section and make some of your own notes to have next to you when you take the test. good luck

That's good to know re the pre assessment. Takes a bit of the stress out of it.

Definitely will take some notes and have them next to me as apparently it's timed so you only get a certain amount on each question!

Regarding starter kit I found this on another thread:

Two shellac colours
Two French colours
Xpress 5 top coat
Base coat
Scrubfresh
Cuticle away
Cool blue
Shellac remover and foil wraps
Orange stick
Isopropyl alcohol
Mundo wipes
Mundo paper roll
A cuticle pusher
A Kanga file.
Cnd uv lamp.

Someone else put that the colours they received were Tropix, wildfire, romantique and cream puff

Can't wait! So glad you get the lamp part of it too

Thank you, good luck with yours! It's not too bad I managed to get just over 90% on my first go but got some stupid ones wrong where I just weren't sure, just make sure you know all the nail disorders by description and pictures and curing times! The glossary at the back is really helpful too I had a quick revise by going through that just before taking the test. Ok probably already said too much, good luck!

Every test has randomly selected questions , so you can't cheat [emoji12], no two tests are the same !

I did the course in London. I really enjoyed it, Anna is a great teacher and puts 100% into her students. Youll love it!

I just completed the same course in Cheltenham- it was brilliant I now feel confident to get out there and start working, I'm going mobile and hoping to earn enough to pay for my next course, either the Spa manicure one or the liquid and powder one, I can't wait

Yes completed mine this weekend and it was very informative yet still had a load of fun! Have my first 'client' this week (family) doing French so hopefully it comes out nice haha

Just waiting for my sweet squared to be updated so I can order some product and start my collection
