To be fair, if you're using polish which is thick and gloopy because it's from the very bottom of the bottle, I think that could be something to do with it not fully curing. If it has been used without being mixed each time, it will not be the correct consistency by the time you get to the last bit
Also, re: cuticles, a Shellac application should include cuticles each time, st least that is how I was trained. However, I fairly quickly discovered not all clients need cuticles doing every time in fact some never seem to or do their own, and I found people would request that I left the cuticles and knocked some money off. So along came my two tier price system, one including cuticle work at a few £ more. I can't say I have ever had the shellac peeling from the cuticle. Are you sure you're not getting it on the actual skin as then it will undoubtedly peel.
I wonder if you're applying too thickly if it's chipping from the edge?
And have you changed your bulbs recently?
