My first thought for this would be don't do it all over but start by introducing it into the hair, so get rid of either bleach or 901s and work this through instead.

Doing this your client can go darker gradually and get used to it rather than all in one go, hate it and get you to take her back blonde!! We all know that won't happen over night, so use your consultation find out what colour she likes/dislikes and go from there.

Another option would be to do your foils of whatever blonde you have chosen to use, then flood the rest of the hair with the darker colour

I discussed with her about doing it gradually but she's wanting to just go for it so bit unsure on the pre pigmenting as it's time consuming and costly is there any product that cover bleach or am I best pre pigging and what would you use? X

Personally I don't prepig but that's because matrix colours auto adjust to the hair, and their is specific colours designed for adding warmth whilst darkening, but if your looking for a base of 1-5 prepig with red 6-8 red/copper and 9-10 yellow/gold but ur prepig Quasi must be 2 shade lighter than your final colour so it doesn't go to dark :) Quasi is a must for infilling like this.
