Colour corrections

Hi, hope someone can give me some advice ASAP.
I'm going to do someone's hair tomorrow and would like some advice on the pre pig colour.
So, the person has really overbleached hair and therefore wants to go back to natural colour.
The target colour would be an ash brown base 7
I was thinking of using indola red mousse to pre pig it and the apply a 7.1 / 8.1.
My doubt is, will the red mousse be too much or should I use other tone. I have done previous colour corrections but never used the red mousse and I'm worried that the red will come through..

Base 7 underlying pigment is yellow - orange /copper. You don't get red until you get down to a 5.
