Colour remover help over bleach

My client was a base 4 she has been having highlights and is lighting up but not as well as we would like. She had used years of box dark brown/black colour on her hair. And the back is just not lifting it’s still very warm. It is very dry now and I am wondering if I can use a colour remover such as Effasor to remove the other unwanted pigment. Can I use this on bleach processed hair?

With colour build-up, you should have used a colour reducer not bleach.
