Colourist advice needed asap xx

I have a client who is natural red head prob base 7 she has a semi 5.4 on with underlying bleach and woven tints
She wants to get back to natural red looking with few highlights,,, think Isla fisher
Rather than try and strip the colour Out I have suggested a full head of wovens ( I tested using 3% with clynol go blonde which lifted lovely) and was going to tone with wella 9/17 which client liked and then couple weeks later I suggested another full head highlights using wella 7/37 and more bleach to get any remaining brown out,
What do u guys think? Am I missing an easier or better way to achieve this look?! Would the bleach bath be better then apply wella 7/37all over with some bleach foils???

Hi there my daughter is a natural red head prob a base 8 and has had semis onher hair of about a 5.3 also with underlying bleach ...she decided the other day that she wanted her natural colour back , now she changes her mind like the wind i think having a mom as a hairdresser she definately takes advantage lol anyway ive done bleach baths on her before and its turned out okish but her hair wasnt left in the best state ...yesterday i went to sallys and bought a box of rusk eliminate and its the best thing ive ever purchased apply like a colour and takes 20 mins to process her har is absolutely stunning i cant stop looking at it not only is it glossy and doesnt look or feel damaged it was so quick may beworth reading the reviews its taken her right back to her original state

i managed to strip the artificial col straight to her natural colour i was completely amazed and didnt have to use a toner (luckily ) although had it not of been quite right id of used a toner and wudve gone with igora 9.75 ...like i say if you google elimin8 it tells you everything you need to know and i love it and her hair today looks stunning x

Thank you I have googled and read reviews and it does sound great I'm just worried I will get patchy uneven blotches from colour build up! Did u see the link for the final look she wants? Xx

I have decided not to use the colour stripper as I have not done one before and rather guinea pig a friend or family member before I did a client
So do u think I should bleach bath the hair ? If u look at the link of how she wants it, I was thinking maybe bleach bath and then do bleach foils and Inbetween apply wella 7/37
Do u think this would get something similar to that pic?! Her hair is strong enough but will prob need a few conditioning treatments afterwards xx
I'm doing her tomorrow so ur advise or ideas on what I'm suggesting would u greatly received

I understand your uneasiness about using a product that you havnt seenresults of before to be fair it works much better on redheads as it leaves a warm colour on the hair !
Yes go with the bleach bath and the 7.37 infill around finely woven lights will look gorgeous let me know how it goes xx

Thank you so much for getting back to me!! I will re the bleach bath when I tested her hair with 3% it lifted nicely after 45mins so would u go with 6% for the bleach bath and lift to a nice pale orange colour :0)
I always get worried when I do them even now haha what's the realistic amount of time it should stay on the hair for I think I sometimes get it of to quick! Xx

yes use 6% leaves the hair softer doesnt it and yes nice orange be good cus the 7.37 is coppery warm ( i dont use wella ) but have col chart i stand over my bleach baths and keep emulsifying the hair ive never gone over 45 mins ! x

Done it! Client pleased and it cAme out lovely ..... Although for some reason not like the 7/37 on the chart it looked more like that after the bleach bath !! Is it becAuse i did 7/37 with 6% do u think I should of used 3%
All the same client pleased but be good to know why it didn't come out as it should? Hair to porous??? Didnt bleach bath light enough?

Thank god its done lol hmmmm hair possibly was porous after bleach bath but ive personally never bleach cleansed with 3 % ?? did it come out darker ? at least you have the right lift now and nxt time should be a breeze xx

I did the bleach bath with 6%
Hair felt fine afterwards :/
