Hi, I did 121 training with Nail Harmony in acrylics but was really struggling so I did another course with Young Nails. I'm not sure that was the best thing to do as I now don't really know the best way of applying acrylic. Young Nails teach reverse application but what I am not sure about is if you are sculpting a fairly long enhancement do you still start at the cuticle or start at the free edge and work in 3 zones like Nail Harmony teach. If you start at the cuticle and let it flow then what? X

How long ago did you train?
You know you can always contact your educators right? They are always there to help if you need to go over anything you are struggling with.
I'd definitely give one of them a call/email and let them know your having trouble. That's what they are there for. x

It's a year ago. I am going to speak to one of them at the NEC on Sunday. The trouble with the other one is she always says "well book in for another 121 with me and we'll go over it" . I can't afford to keep doing that. I really feel I need to have salon experience and a mentor watching over me but don't know how to achieve that and my age is against me!

With YN yes always start at cuticle. The speed line in the best!!

Sorry read the last part of the question...
If you pick up the right size bead, it should settle pretty much where the apex should be. Then build out from there. Young Nails puts out some awesome training videos so you can u tube them for good techniques
