Hi all, I am currently looking at utilising my creative side and venturing into nail extensions I wondered if anyone would be kind enough to offer advice on courses/qualifications. The easiest option seems to be to do an online course but I can't see the merit in it if I want to be taken seriously in the industry, any advice would be gr8 Tx.

See what your local college is offering this September. Level 2 courses can cover mani, pedi and extensions.

I've done a VTCT level 2 in nail treatments which covered mani, pedi and nail art. I'm starting a VCTC level 2 in nail technology which covers mani/pedi/nail art and acrylics. I can skip the first part as I've done those on my previous course. I'm doing it at a beauty acedmy and it's a recognised qualification. Be careful where you go as lot of places will charge you lots but you might not actually get a recognised qualification at the end. The VTCT in nail technology sounds like it's probably what your looking for x
