Crazy colour red - bleach - yellow

Agggghhhh...... So I have been having a fortnight of drama with my hair. I used to have crazy/directions on my hair - although I never bleached it previous to staining, I used a light copper mixed with tint (8.4 + 904) majirel.
As after three years of the upkeep I so wanted a change. So to try and cut this long awful story short. There is simply nothing that will budge the mid length and ends!!!!!! I have lost count on how many bleaches, tints and toners I have used on it. And now it feels backwards but my last hope is directions white toner. It may not work but I just have to try. After today's last attemp it has gone to bright yellow to luminous. LITRALLY like i have applied canary yellow. I feel I will have to have a lot cut off this however this doesn't bother me, it's only hair - it grows. I was hoping someone else had tried this...... :/

Ive been in the same situation as you (was crazy colour red for months- dyed it every week etc) and it was so stained it would not budge! The last bleach i did (bleach shampoo as id tried to tone it but didnt work) messed it up big time! Only hope was shaving it off (yes really) grade 2 all over. Best thing i ever did as i now have fresh new hair to mess with!

Not saying that you have to shave yours off but its gonna take a looooooong time and plently of cond treatments to sort it out good luck! Amy xx

Thanks amy, nice to know I'm not doing anything wrong! 2/3 of my head was shaved last year so that wouldn't be an issue ha, but I'm thinking a short choppy bob will be sufficient. I'm gonna try one if not a few of these toners just for the mid lengths to end just while I get it cut. I'll post back on later with the results - if there is any ha. Couldn't find anyone else anywhere that has posted about this problem........

So......... I got directions white toner.... Applied and after 40mins no budge. So before rinsing it out a started to apply crazy color lilac and after a further 30 mins. Amazing results! Far from perfect but I can deffo now feel free to leave the house!! Ha. I may have to keep up with this for a while but that's not an issue. I have now delayed my bob cut as its now only down to the condition rather then the color that I will need it cutting. So wrong that no bleaching colour tint toner NOTHING sorted this, yet the one thing I wanted to stay away from - stains - was the only thing that worked! Go figure
