Hi there, i am new to the nail world - ive yet to start my training,i want to do the complete NVQ Level 2 & 3. i have been doing thorough research to make sure i find the best course that will provide me with the best training and value for money. i think i have found one that seems really good - K-Sa-Ra Nails in Kent, which i found out about through contacting ANT. Has anyone trained with them? Any good?
Also, ive been thinking about what product range i would like to use when i go into business and i think that Creative Nail Design products seem the best out there, does anyone know whether you can use these products professionally without having done training at the Creative Nail Academy. My reason for not training with them is purley down to finances and the number of individual courses that need to be taken. any advice would be gratefully received. thanks.

Hiya, I've done a nail art course with K-Sa-Ra and it was very good. In answer to the Creative question, no there is no way of buying the enhancement products (l+p & gel) without doing the training. If you're not yet trained at all why not go straight to Creative rather than K-Sa-Ra? The Foundation course looks expensive but if this is your career, then surely it's worth the investment? IMO, you get what you pay for and I've never regretted training with Creative.

Any Foundation course you do will only ever be only that - the Foundation of your knowledge and skills. To be a skilled and knowledgeable Tech you will need to continue your education throughout your career.....

that isn't the case in the UK, the only way to purchase CND products legally is through either Hyperion or Ellisons.
