I started using crystal pixie this week and charged £3 per nail, which I think is fair as it is so expensive to buy for a very small amount. I've had a client ask what I would charge for a full set over acrylics. I charge £22 for a full set of natural acrylics. Can anyone suggest what price I should charge for ten fingers of crystal pixie along with acrylics. I was thinking £50-£60??

I'd take the cost of a full set of acrylics, add the cost of the crystal pixie, then charge for the extra time taken to apply it x

If you are already charging £3 per nail then £3x10 would be £30 + £22 for the full set would be £52

Personally if that was what I was charging I would probably reduce to £50 if having every nail done, you will save a bit of time as you already have everything out

Also from a client point of view they are unlikely to want to pay more for having it on every nail than the individual cost per nail

Have you had to take any off yet? I tested it out on myself and found it a pain to remove so be prepared for that when it comes to taking it off. The glass covers the acrylic so soak off is not suitable when the whole nail is covered. Using hand files for it is useless as the glass blunts the file surface and using E-File pings tiny bits of glass around so you have to be careful with that hiting your client and you. Best to wear goggles and cover your clients hand with a make shift screen
