Hi!

I'm really interested in getting some
Hair extensions.
I've got fairly short hair but enough to have extensions put in.

I don't know much about extensions though, I've never even owned clip in ones so the whole thing is totally new to me.

Any professionals willing to tell me pro's and con's, how long they should last, the types available and what a good price would be (as in a price that should reflect good products and tech, not cheapest lol!)

It's something I'm serious about considering and I'd like to know anything I should know before proceeding lol

Quality hair extensions, I mean 100% virgin human hair extensions from the top hair extension salon in your city could will be the perfect choice for you as one such salon only use the best quality human hair extensions that perfectly matches with your hair color and volume. Since you are new to hair extensions, there are some ‘technical’ terms which you may hear for the first time such as Micro Ring, Clip-in, Micro Bonds, virgin hair, Remy extensions and so on.

Nevertheless, a professionally done extension from a reputed hair styling salon would certainly do justice to your looks and overall appeal as advanced extension techniques such as ‘Micro Ring hair extension’ and ‘Advance Microbonds’ works perfectly well and it would be impossible to distinguish between your natural tresses and the extension itself. Russian Remy hair extensions are considered to be of the finest quality and thus they are priced a bit on the upper end which is worth it. You can look for one such hair extension salon in your city or neighbourhood that offers such flawless extensions.

Or... you could search online in your local area and find a professional hair extension technician who can offer an expert service with high quality products without the salon price ( they have overheads etc so of course are justified in charging more) however there are many mobile techs out there who specialise In extensions only who can talk u through all u need to know. I would consider 2 things important before u commit, check reviews see feedback, talk to people who can recommend through personal experience ( is this tech insured?) check course qualification etc. Also the consultation, if it's rushed or lacking in info then run. You should go through everything including aftercare at your consultation, all your options and get a flawless colour match. If you don't feel you're getting enough info or your radar is telling u it's dodgy don't go ahead! Good luck!
