I sadly smashed a big chunk off one of my beautiful custom blend nails yesterday. I was devestated.

Anyway, Christine, NailNovice2 repaired it for me with sculpting. It was amazing to watch her at work and I can't stop looking at it................it's like it was never broken in the first place. It also made me realise the importance of keeping a record of the exact amounts in the blend.

Wel done Chrissy and thank you so much. xxx

Oh Kimmi!

You are being kind. I was rather nervous of doing any repair on those fab nails, especially to try and match the rest. Hopefully the repair won't disintegrate too quickly.

Your French polish is great. I am going to see how long it lasts. I have put my nails through the mill already and there has been no chipping. I will keep you posted.

AH!!....is this what has awakened your interest in sculpting ? It is fascinating to watch an artist at work....
I know what you mean about writing your recipes down...I Have to do it there and then as I go....my memory is so shocking. Also don't let your mix run out and mix up a complete new batch just in case your spoon sizes are slightly different! mix up a new batch and add it in whilst there is still some left, and it will blend in & be a better match.....
