Cool blue.....really? I'd never thought.
Just had a try with some other brand and totally removed the shine.

Are you just wiping it over each nail, ie one squirt on a lint free wipe for 5 fingers?

COOL BLUE IS NOT THE IDEAL THING BUT, UNTIL YOU GET YOUR D-SPERSE, IT WILL DO AS IT IS LARGELY ALCOHOL.

I think you must have used an acetone based product, which of course will have broken it down, to remove the shine. NEVER use acetone or polish remover or ScrubFresh, etc to remove the inhibition layer from Shellac.

Really you shouldn't be using Shellac at all until you have all the right products to perform the service correctly... including the lamp.

I would put it on a wipe and rub it over each nail from the eponychium to the free edge ,
remember that Cool Blue is ok for your skin but the dispersion layer isn't.

Hi, I have some prep and wipe from the gellux range - would that be ok to use with shellac? once all the layers have been cured (right at the very end) I know that contains Isopropol Alcohol ? thanks..
