Dark browny red to dark blonde?

Ok so I havnt coloured my whole head for a few months just the roots with a reddy brown. Anyhow I want to go nearer my natural shade which is is dark blonde but my hairdresser won't strip or bleach. She put a dark blonde dye on and it's took a bit of the orangyness out of it but the inch of my root at the top still looks strawberry blonde even on my own root. And the rest is a bit patchy. she says it will take another 2 dyes to be the right colour. But if it's the same as what it's came out as on my root I really don't think it's blonde. It's still on the ginger side. Please help x

Do you have a picture? Your hairdresser should have stripped some of the colour first x

Try another hairdresser?
Sounds like yours isn't very confident with colour correction which is usually taken as an advanced hairdressing course.

Visit a few salons and ask for a consultation and see what they advise.
