Hi! I seem to be experiencing incredibly dry and sore eyelids. Iv had it for about 3 months now, but lately it's been so much worse! I cleanse, time and moisturise twice a day (but I'm not cleansing my eyes) using Dermalogica products. At night I use an intense Dermalogica barrier cream and throughout the day I use Dermalogica Intensive Eye Repair.

Nothing seems to be working now, and it's slowly getting worse, and more and more embarrassing! 😫

Please can someone help!!

Iv attached a picture to show you what I mean (please excuse the roughness)

Thankyou in advance! 😘

Hi, I have a client with the same redness & being sore, she went to the doctor who diagnosed her as having eczema on her eyelids, so if I were you go & see what they say. I told my lady to apply Vaseline before she goes out, it will act as a barrier & help stop any cold weather making them worse.
I also have another client who only gets sore eyelids (eczema diagnosed again) when she sweats, so defo worth looking into lifestyle & go doctors hun!!
This time of year skin problems can become worse or even flare up!!
Hope you get it sorted xx

Ooooo ouch Hun. That looks so sore :( I agree with the above poster, I would go and visit you G.P and see what they say- they might be able to give you some cream for it. Hope you get it sorted though :)

I get this comes from a nail varnish allergy. Ends up in eyelid eczema and very dry skin and sometimes swelling under my eyes. It's not nice I have been on steroids twice for it...

I would visit the docs just to be safe and check it’s not fungal, eczema or dermatitis. I would lay off using any kind of product, cream or cleanser and certainly not rub or exfoliate the area at all. Cleanse by gently splashing water on your face. Your body is designed to sort itself out and I’m sure products cause more problems than they solve. I’m big on naturalism (not naturism btw!) I had similar issues and it improved so much when I got hypoallergenic bedding and stopped using virtually any kind of products like cleansers, soaps, shower gel or moisturisers.
