Ive recently started renting a space in a salon doing brows. The lady i rent off does my nails at full price which is fine but i feel like i should give her discount when i do her brows. I also am doing her daughters today. Would you give discount or just stick to full price. Thanks x

Ok, ask yourself honestly, are you playing at beauty or are you running a business?

What do you think your landlady would answer if asked that question?

If you want to make a living from the beauty business, you have to take it seriously and learn to be a businesswoman. You also need to ensure that your friends and family respect your job and pay you full price too. (discounts for your mum are fine ;) )

Your right! Thank you

If she charges you full price, why would you want to give her a discount?

I give the hairdressers I rent from 30-50% off depending on the treatment and I get 50% off my hair so that works for me.

Other than that the only people I don't charge or discount are my mum, dad, brother and fiancé. They never take advantage of my generosity and are always so helpful and supportive that I am happy to do it.

She will still want her rent even if she gets half price eyebrows xx
