Sorry for the weird question, but I work from my home salon and it's quite compact but I really could do with an extra chair so I can utilise time when colours are developing etc...it's like musical chairs at the minute and I feel its not very professional. So my question is what would be the comfortable minimum spacing between chairs? My room is 9ft wide..I just don't want to change it all around to accommodate the chair then find it doesn't work

I would say it doesn't matter aslong as there's enough room for you to work comfortably if it's a home salon it's not like you've got stylists bumping into you everyone you take a step lol x

18 inches to 2ft inbetween chairs so clients dont feel like they are on top of each other, u could just leave 1ft to the wall but u cant work in this space, you really need 2ft all round! hth xx

Oh that's lovely thanks, think I'll be able to do 1 & 3/4 ft in between both chairs and wall..phew, had visions of having to move walls!
