DIY nail desk with vent

Hi I’m having troubles finding a white nail desk for a reasonable
Price. I’m wondering if anyone has made their own with a nail vent?

I don't have a vent, but my desk is from IKEA, it's one of the ones with the Alex drawer unit and 2 legs with a white top, if rather then buying a top from ikea you bought some of the white furniture board from b&q (in conjunction with the drawer unit and legs from ikea) you would be able to make something of a more custom size, but also be able to cut the hole for the vent system (the ikea desk tops aren't solid wood, so you would want to cut into one)

I have an Ikea desk with a vent for my extractor fan. I cut it myself but it was a major hassle. The desk originally had 2 drawers which I removed but that affected the stability of it [emoji85] I ended up having to add lots of brackets. Love it now but at one point I did wish I’d never started it.
I’d get a plain white table
