I wasn't sure whether to put this post here. Or ask a pro. So feel free to move of more appropriate.

Last night I had my eyebrows waxed and asked if the beautician could arch them a little more.

She said it would be hard as they weren't busy enough. I said not to worry if it'd be too hard.

She did my brows and asked if she could put some pencil on, like she's done before. Which was fine. And then she showed me at the very end.

I came home and when I washed my face I then realised she went mad on just one brow. I have literally about 10 hairs for half my eyebrow.

Do I tell the beautician even though she can't do anything about it. I'm not massively bothered (now) but just to make her aware? X

She obviously made a mistake and knows it. Personally I would not mention it but I wouldn't use her again. Hope they grow back
Soon. X

Ive had this happen before when I went to get HD brows. First time I went, they were great, second time I was going away on holiday so went back to get them topped up, she gave me an app after 6 (when I finished work) I dont know if she was rushing to get out or what but when I left she had filled them in so they looked fine, just excessively filled in. I went home and started to remove the makeup. One eyebrow was a completely different shape, She took way too much off the front of one so it was in past my eye and took too much off the top so there was no arch. I nearly cried because it took me 2 years to grow them thick and get them perfect after having thin eyebrows and I thought for once I'd treat myself and get the HD brows done. I never went back and told her, I just never went there again. Its a shame because they're the only salon that does HD brows. Im just going to go back to doing my own eyebrows. Wont trust anyone again!

I think you should politely mention it too her. Its obviously not nice to hear but might make her a better therapist in the long run and she may become more aware in future/invest in some advanced training.

I would definitely say something! It seems like she knew she had made a mistake but decided to just cover it up! This might have been a one off but on the other hand it might not and the salon should be informed in case she needs a bit of extra training.

How does this sound...

Hi **** I wasn't sure to let you know or not, but my right hand eyebrow was a bit sparse at the end.
I know you can't do anything about it. But just thought I'd let you know.
It's looks ok once I've drawn my eyebrows in so not to worry too much.

Yes anything will do the trick as pink couture said the therapist knows she done wrong but i think you should just highlight that you realised an its not acceptable just so it doesnt happen again!

Hi I know I'm jumping on this late but I am a HD Brows stylist and would be glad to hear feedback good or bad. It only makes us better therapists!
It sounds like she knew what she had done as she had excessively filled in the overshaped brow. It's a shame really because if she had owned up to making a mistake and apologised and maybe given you one of the lash and brow boosters (encourages hair growth) you may have actually considered going back. Honesty is respect! Hope they're growing back ok! Hugs x

The problem is they are growing back. But there's the odd hair that look ridiculous. But I don't wanna pluck it because it needs to be there to eventually thicken it up!!

It's tough but you've got to try and leave them. Using a great brow pencil or powder in the interim will help hide any sparse areas. I know it's hard, I've been through it myself. My own fault tho haha! After years of over plucking them myself!

After going on the HD Brows course I desperately wanted thicker fuller brows so started growing them out and I'm really happy with them now. And in most cases the hairs will grow back....if left alone and as long as they've not been repeatedly plucked out for years and years. I've had great results with the Lash and Brow booster from HD Brows. I would be really upset if someone left my salon unhappy with their brows as I know how important they are to people x

How do the boosters work? I started to have hd brows done to make them thicker and love the look! I have a scar in my eyebrow and no hairs seem to grow around this area would something like this work or am I just going to have to fill this in for the next however many years?

I have a scar running through my eyebrow and no amount of boosters will make hair grow there.

Thanks vic! I thought that would be the case! Where can I get these from tho? Alan Howard's/salon services? X

Hi Lauren121 yes Vic is right hair won't grow through scar tissue. The HD Brows one is available through salons or online from HD Brows (or trade if you're trained with them). I believe salon services sells rapid brow but haven't used it personally. Seen some good reviews online though x
