I'm trying to write an email to send to my clients that have booked an appointment, just to make sure the appointment is confirmed and to introduce myself really. I have briefly outlined how the treatment runs etc, and reaffirmed my contact details but I'm really at a loose end. I don't want to waffle on but I don't want to miss out vital information.

Does anyone currently do this (I'm mobile).

A salon I recently worked at did this, and the clientele seemed to like it! I think it adds a personal touch, makes people feel special. Between that and text notifications, the people liked having a Stylist that took the time to do something like that for them. I think its a great idea!
 
I have this in my shop, but mine's automated. I have my system send an automated (but customizable) text or e-mail reminder for my customers :) so there's no excuse for customers to say they "forgot to come in"!
