Had 4 new customers in today and out of them I had two ask the same thing so : Dont you just hate it when a customer comes in loves there cut and colour asks to rebook for 6 weeks and says 'how much will it be next time for a colour but I'll only need a trim not a proper cut... argh I hate it lol!!

Agreed! Same as when they want a quick trim, I tell them there's no such thing as I don't charge by the minute!

Lol I know hat you mean .. had a customer ask me today how much I would charge just to trim the bottom of her hair (eg tidy up her hair line) luckily i was too busy to do it but find these situations really awkward - when i said i couldn't do it her daughter said 'its OK mum ill do it later' (she is 14 and had no experience what so ever!) x

I normally put a positive spin on these situations by saying 'well it'll be the same again as this time I charged you for a trim instead of a restyle' normally makes them leave feeling all happy about saving money, rather than saving next time :)

Ah lol thanks, sorry I'm thick as mince haha! Xx

It irritates me when people come & say 'it needs a good cut'. I always tell them I only do good cuts, not bad ones!!!!!

The same price (unless you did a full head colour) the charge being more if you have restyled or given a totally different hairstyle/cut.

I think they mean there hair needs a good cut and not you to give a good cut :)
