Hey Geeks!

I'm opening a new salon and i am very unsure of what products to use? PLEASE HELP!!!! i am torn between Eve Taylor and Ahava. I've never had a salon before and i want to use products that are great and have lots of different treatments like back treatments etc but i dont want them to cost the earth as i dont want to be priced out of the market. i'm also a male therapist and want a brand that do a mens range as i want to attract more males into the salons i've also seen crystal clear and academie but i think these products are quite expensive. If anybody can help that would be great. Many Thanks!

Hi there I have Ahava for body treatments and I really love them. They provide all the promotional stuff free and loads of samples to hand out. I think this range will suit men as well probably a bit better than ET. What is also great about them is that clients with eczema and psoriasis can use them. The Dermud range can also be used as an after wax product and they do a range of manicure products that are not too effeminate. I have had samples from ET and also liked them a lot but I am more biased towards Ahava especially if you have male clients. :)

i use eve taylor in my salon, and I love it! I do however, think that some men may find the products a little flowery. I do have quite a few male clients, mostly for waxing and massage, although do a couple of male facials a month. None of the men have ever commented negativly on the products, but my husband HATES the smells! I believe that Ahava are more "marine" based, so could be more palatable! Phone both companies for some samples and see what you think. Good luck x

Eve Taylor - mmmmmm

I would probably go for Eve Taylor to.

I used to have Ahava and I didn't rate it at all which is why I changed to academie.

I think a lot of people assume men don't like the 'flowery smells' associated with womens products but most men I do treatments on prefer it ! My boyfriend hated Ahava products and went back to using Decleor which is very fragrant !!

To be perfectly honest I don't feel I got results with Ahava and I think it is overpriced for what it is.

I use Eve Taylor products and think they are great.Reasonably priced and good, effective products.I havent used Ahava so cant comment.Eve Taylor have no minimum order price and they deliver really quickly too.The treatments are great and you can offer as little or as many treatments as you like.

Hello there

Defifetly Eve Taylor been using this product range in my salon and all my clients love it and come back for more, I even use it on myself and retail it at my salon which sells pretty well with a good sales tecnique lol.
mAle clients dont seem to mind though it is a bit scented for a man, best getting a seperate range for the men if they dont like it

I shall be using Eve Taylor in my salon as I'm an aromatherapist!
