Funky Fingers said:Hello - I was interested in what you said about buying products from companies and training. I am a Creative Master Technician and the appeal for me was that Creative only sold to people who trained with them. It isn't really true though as anybody can buy Creative whether you train with them or not all you have to do is go to a show!! Anybody can buy Creative at a show and that makes a mockery of people like myself who are loyal to Creative. There should be a minimum national qualification, such as the NVQ, which people should have to obtain before they can buy anyones products. Hopefully this should not be too far away. All said and done I still think Creative are the best and I wouldn't change to anyone else!
Best Wishes

You need to let us know what books you have and what training you've had in order to be able to give any help on stuff to read etc. I had a look at your profile but you've not given any information to go on. Drop another post with your details on it and i'm sure someone will be able to point you in the right direction.maz said:i am always reading about how good other technicians are and wonder if i will ever be as good as them. It would be great to do more training if only i didnt have to travel to Leeds every time and unfortunatly i am only just getting used to using a computer to ask for advice, how do other nail techs advance themselves? Are there any books that you can buy which cover all problems associated with all the nail systems if there is please let me know., sometimes it would be nice to have an encyclopedia to refer to instead of having to ask al lthe time.

Its a must for nail techs
Funky Fingers said:Sorry Geeg but I disagree with you, there are more than one or two people that slip through the net at shows!! Why don't you issue Creative trained technicians with ID cards so that nobody could buy Creative Liquid and Powder unless they produced a card. I bet show sales would half!!!!
