I thought I'd run another FB competition during February and instead of just liking & sharing, I'd like to try and educate people about caring for their nails whilst they are in with a chance of winning.

But I'm a bit clueless as to what format it should take - any ideas or has anyone done this themselves?

My January comp got quite a few new page likes and lots of shares so I was very pleased as it was my first competition

Do a start to finish competition.
Like have them take pics along the way and explain why they do it the way they do.

Can you enlarge? It's early - I not really with you!

Like ask posters to do (xxxx) whatever kind of nails or art or whatever.... But instead of posting a finished pic, ask that they take pictures from start o finish and document what they are doing and why

You can also invite people to vote by Sharon on Instagram, Facebook whatever, because then people with knowledge of nails will be supporting those who are closest to nail tech education

What about giving away a course of Ibx, you could show other before and after pics and really push the importance of good nail care with regular updates throughout the competition whilst explaining alongside the pictures what's happening? Or a collage of pics with step by steps of what happening and why? Xxx

Hi!

Jumping on this thread sorry - I'm thinking about offering a free gel manicure to get my Facebook page shared a bit.
I've just had a delivery of 10 new colours so I am going to use that post as an incentive and ask them to like and share.

I'm not sure how to word it though - did you get people to comment once they had liked the page and shared the post as I don't want it to look like it failed or miss anyone who entered.

Thinking about running it until next Friday.

Any thoughts please? :)
TIA
