How on earth does everyone manage to shape their own nail enhancements with their non dominant hand? Fed up of walking round with one beautifully shaped hand and one dodgey hand :( I wear my nails in a long coffin and I feel like I am improving every day I am so happy with my right hand but my left is embarrassing! I find it particularly hard to shape the sides evenly especially on my little finger as it moves so much when I file it. Is there any tips or tricks?

Hold the file still and move your hand
Vice Versa to what you would do with the other hand
Works for me x

It gets easier! I used to struggle but can now do nail art on my non dominant hand and I'm quicker doing my own nails than a clients.
If you like the ballerina shape have you tried stiletto tips? I use them fir most shapes if I'm not sculpting and they hardly need any shaping.
Pro impressions clear stilettos are great

I definitely take longer to do my own nails that I would a client but, with time, I am getting so much faster at my own and you'd be amazed how ambidextrous you become with practice! In fact, I think doing your own acrylics is the best hands on experience you can do for free.

Hey, even I face this problem, My left hand is so nice, at the same time, right hand is equally ugly. Some advice would be really great.

Ok that's interesting I have never thought of that! I will give it a try tonight on my horrifically shaped middle finger! Thank you x

I sculpt I rarely use tips I hate them but thank you! So it's even worse because I'm sculpting with my non dominant hand there can be a lot of product in wrong places to file through
