First client tonight!

So feeling rather nervous today as I have my first paying customer tonight!!! Im just worried about coming across the way I feel which is like a complete amatuer!! Very new to this and just finished training. My mobile table hasn't yet arrived and I had hoped to have all my equipment ready before taking clients but then felt I shouldn't turn down the work either. The client is from an aquanatal class I go to so although we're not close friends, I do know her and shes knows Ive just set up my business so hopefully that will make it easier.
I also published my website and facebook pages yesterday and have had 41 likes already!!! im astounded!!!! Obviously the point of all this is to get known and build a client base but im also soooo worried about not being good enough to get a good rep or becoming known to too many people and not being able to keep up??!! I am a perfectionist and want everything to go well and I know like anything it takes time and practice so I guess its just a case of doing my best and seeing how I get on?!

Any tips for a newbie?

Relax, do exactly as you've been trained to do, smile, be friendly but professional, try not to over think or worry, when finished remember to take a photo and ask your client if they would like to schedule their maintenance appointment.

[Beauty Tips]

Try and have all of your products needed set up in the order you will be using them - this helps to avoid missing steps if you are feeling super nervous.
Also, have some chilled music playing in the background for when you are concentrating and there are a few silences.

I've only been getting regular customers who I've never met before for the last couple months and these two things helped.
Be super friendly when they walk in and fake it until you make it haha Acting confident makes the client more comfortable and it just kind of flows easier from there.

I think Im pretty good at showing a different emotion on the outside that the inside, spent my career working in A&E so often have to try not to let on that things are worse than people hope so hoping this puts me in good stead for my first few clients. Im mobile so not sure how easily I can play music but I love the idea! I keep going through my stuff to make sure I have everything I need!!

Well that all went well. Was a gel manicure. She even went for the thermal colour changing one that Ive been wanting to try out but Ive been working my way through trying the others and havent got as far as that one yet! Ill try and upload a pic of my handiworks! Also have another booking for sunday for a friend who is not a nail type of gal but shes been looking at wensite and facebook and decided that she needs to dedicate a bit of time to herself so hoping to convert her!!

It's belissima gel UK. I love their products! Great quality and great company and i LOVE their colours!!! They have about 7 color changing gels!

Just been out to another couple clients tonight. Did a set of extensions with gel overlay and a set of gel with two sculptures to fix broken, short nails. Will upload pics.
