Hi I’m looking for advice I’m a mobile hairdresser and don’t have many full head blondes ..
my client is a level 7 slightly lighter side and Iv have been using 8/0 and 7/1 kp on her roots and scattered bleached highlights . She now wants to be an all over blonde .
I’m slightly worried with all this change in wella kp are they coming out warmer ? Do I just apply at the roots ? What if it doesn’t blend ? I’m finding the new kp colours really tonal so will it grab to the precious bleached hair ... just a bit worries really !

When you say full head blonde do you mean a scalp application? And are you thinking of using highlift?

You need to address the banding first. The 12/1 will lift really well on the very root close to the scalp and then you will be left with a darker band further away from the scalp where the previous application of 8/0 +7/1 was used.
Id use 10/0 +12% on the darker band first. Let it develope then address it the root are and tone. Of you could use use 10/0 +12% on the darker band, leave 20 mins then apply 10/0 and 9%to roots area and process for 40 minutes.
The ideal situation would probably be to use bleach. Use 20vol on the darker band leave until its lifted at least 1 levels and then use 10or 15 vol on the very root. And obviously theb tone.

The reason I'm suggesting 10/0 is becasue its the only tint in the whole range that will cut through tint. Sometimes you can get lift with the highlifts on coloured hair but the results are not guaranteed because they are not designed for colour treated hair.

Thank you I will try the 10/0 on the banding, then roots she has bleached highlights too so no harsh regrow line . Maybe do a few slices of bleach over her part ?? Mind you she’s not keen on bleach but we have started using Olaplex on her so hair is starting to feel better . Thanks again for advice great help
