Hey peeps!
I just want to be nosey and seeing what people prefer to use?
I trained in acrylics at college 12yrs ago, but due to full time work, never got round to making use of my qualification.
I'm currently training in gel and acrylic nail enhancements and after struggling for so long with gel application, im taking a break from gel and started on acrylic and i love it!
So what are all your preferences when it comes to gel, acrylic, etc etc?
Just a being nosey thread :p

I've got the opposite problem to you! Recently did an acrylic conversion course (originally trained in fibreglass 18 years ago and taught myself gels as fibreglass isn't so popular these days) but I'm really struggling with acrylics !! :-( I definitely prefer to do gel but find they don't last as long as acrylic so trying to persevere with it!

Acrylic all the way!! I found gel too sticky and messy so just use it for Hollywood Toes and gel polish. I think gel extensions have a certain, nicer look to them (when others do them), but I prefer to work with acrylic.

I get on ok with gel, I think I'm just yet to find a gel that I can work with x

Trained in both, if I had to keep only one it would be l&p

A bit more robust than gel, suitable for almost everyone, easier to build in strength with a good arch, great for sculpting a missing corner etc

Recently qualified in acrylics so I don't know any different! But I trained in ProHesion and it's an excellent product to work with X
