Gel nail and natural nail falling off together

Hi everyone,
I have just got a message from a client saying she got her nails done on Friday in my salon and that yesterday (Sunday) she was eating her breakfast and both gel and natural nail just fell off her pinky.

Has anyone come across this before? The girl who did them has over ten years experience.

The natural nail will not just “fall off” unless it has had some serious trauma or infection.

I would ask for a picture
