I did a set of gel nails and the gel colour has started to come off after 3 days... any ideas?

Poor prep, coats too thick, not capping the free edge, client come into contact with cleaning products or picking them.
Could be a number of things. Couldn’t say 100% without actually seeing them x

It’s not happend before
Did everything tht I normally do so I’m puzzled x

Ask your client to send you a pic or pop in to see you so you can work out what went wrong.
It might not necessarily be something you did x

Thanks for your advice x

I’m having this problem. Recently I’ve had 3 clients return to me and 2 to my colleague saying their gel has come off on one go (not chipped) after only a few days. I’ve tried using a different lamp, a different primer, a different top coat, I’ve made sure I’ve prepped thoroughly but I just can’t work out what’s going wrong. It’s really knocking my confidence! Any advice welcome please xxx

Do you have any pics of your work? We might be able to see if there is anything we can help with x

How old are the lamps that you are using? Depending how much they're used may need bulbs replacing if UVA as loose strength over time same as LED. They only have a certain number of hours usage before needing to be replaced and failing to cure product properly can be sign.
