Gel polish removal

Hi I wounded if I can get some help, I removed my gel polish (artistic colour gloss product) and once the gell has all removed and buffed and tidied my nail up it has left like an indent in my nails (see photo) does anyone know why this is? Or heard of this before?

You over buffed before you applied the product, you can see a perfect replica shape of your cuticle shape and the regrowth is undamaged.

This is the fastest route to damage and nail plate thinning - I'd prefer a gel polish that doesn't require buffing like CND Shellac, or you need to make sure you just remove shine not layers of nail plate
