Why do people use gel polish on acrylic? Nail polish with a good top coat lasts just as long.

Many reasons, all beneficial to the client.
Beautiful mirror shine which lasts until the next infill and needs no top up coats
Doesn't wear from the tips like regular polish
Instantly dry so no smudging as clients are always complaining how long it takes to "sit & wait" (the biggest benefit in my opinion)
My clients always have a choice of polish or gel polish as I would imagine most do anywhere.
