I know this probably gets asked a lot. I've been charging one friend £10 for gel colour on hands while I've been starting out as she's been very supportive. Her and her mum want hands and feet done next week. Is it a big jump to do it £20 for both hands and feet or do people do the both for a bit cheaper?? Tia xx

It's too cheap.

I think you should charge for both and not discount any further. You already offer it at a more than reasonable price [emoji2]x

I'd charge £20 but you also need to consider your prices and if you want to start doing her mum at the same price. If they are regulars then that's 4 regular gel polished for only £10 each. I do my friend's for £10 every 2 weeks and I usually charge £30 for what she gets. Not something you want to get stuck doing.
I know it's difficult asking in the beginning but you should start as you mean to go on as its much harder to ask friends for more further down the line

OK thank you ladies. I don't think I'm fully confident at the moment that's why I charge less but after your advice I'll look into my prices and do up a price list. xx

If you've finished your training, got your qualifications and insurance then get as many clients as you can. You'll be amazed at how quickly your confidence grows once your doing several clients in a row.
Good luck X

Do you have any advice on what training to do? Thankyou

As I commented on the other post, I trained at college but there are lots of gel polish courses available.
If you use the search function on here you'll find lots of info of the polishes and training courses. We all have our favourites so it's finding what suits you

Just to add the course wasn't great and some of it a bit out of date however it was a good start for me and plenty of time to practice with my tutor there and to build my confidence.
I trained with Nsi products and decided to stay with them although I have tried others. I've also done another 2 courses with them since leaving college and another planned soon.
