Just wondered if anyone could offer some advice please???

I am going to be using young nails liquid and powder & also purchasing the CND lamp and shellac polishes.

I am unsure which gel system to use as both CND brisa gels and young nails synergy have both had great reviews... Which one would be best to go for?

Also with me using young nails liquid and powder and shellac gel polishes which brand would I use for prep products? Would I need to have prep products from both youngs and CND?

Any help would be appreciated x

Since you are already getting the CND lamp, get Brisa. You can't go wrong with it. And it's best to match the lamp to the system

As for prep I'm getting they're very similar, although I've never worked with YN's. But my teacher was the same as you (YN L&p due to having a large supply of them when cnd was unavailable for some time in our area, cnd shellac and lamp) and was using cnd prep products.

Hope I've helped. If you don't mind me asking, why did you choose YN l&p?

Thanks your advice has helped! :) my college tutor worked for CND for 10 years and she said to go with brisa gel too!

I am still a little stuck as to which prep products I would use. If I am offering CND lamp, brisa and shellac I would be best using CND prep products....However with me using young nails liquid and powder I thought I would need their prep products too for clients that have this?

I am going to be choosing young nails as everything I have seen and heard seems to be the best! They are a local to me and I have a lot of friends that use it. I've also had young nails each time I've had mine done and they have been amazing!

Thankyou for your help xxxx :)

All prep systems are made of clean acetone and isopropyl alcohol. The only thing that changes is the consistency. Some brands also add some ingredients for colour or perfume.
Gel cleanser to remove the tacky layer are made with ethanol alcohol.
Acrylic and gel polish removers with clean acetone again.
Even if you take the ingredients from a drug store and use them separately you'll still be able to work just fine. I've tried it once for a week when I had run out of Scrubfresh and I had no problems.

Don't overthink this. Take cnd as it's the most of what you'll invest in

Yeah that sounds totally right! I always over think everything I just like things done right id rather ask a million questions if that's what it takes! Thanks a lot for your help xx :)

Just been researching and it also says in order to be able to use the CND name and say you are offering shellac you must have their lamp and certain products as they are trademarked. I will definitely invest in it all, X
