Gelish - Black shadow

Hello,
I do my nails at home, and I love the gelish range of colors. I have tried several times to use Black Shadow, and I cannot seem to get it right. I put it on very thin, but it shrinks around the edges. Any tips or hints on making it come out the way it's supposed to?

I presume you are dry brushing the base coat?

I tend to do five nails and then as a final step before I put the hand in lamp i quickly re-cap the free edges if they have shrunk at all. hope this helps!

Dose this mean your not trained in nails ? or Gelish ?
if so did you buy your products from an official sauce? If not you could have ended up wit fakes ?
or you could simply be making the mistakes that come with not being trained.
